A life-affirming course in conscious living
Created by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. MBSR s an empirically-supported 8-week group training program.
The course combines formal mindfulness practices such as meditation, breathing exercises, and yoga with informal mindfulness practices like mindful eating and walking. Participants will learn how to cultivate a non-judgmental awareness of the present moment and develop a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. The course will also explore how to integrate mindfulness into daily life and how to apply it to manage stress and improve overall health and happiness. By the end of the course, participants will have a toolkit of mindfulness practices they can use to manage stress and improve their well-being.
The course schedule consists of eight weekly classes (2.5h) and one daylong class (6h) on the weekend.
Mindfulness is for everyone! We all can benefit. The training contributes to personal growth and more well-being. Mindfulness meditation is like a mental workout. It is good for your brain! Many people around the world have experienced the positive science-based effects of mindfulness. Mindfulness is a truly beneficial experience.
The training costs 375 euros per person. The price includes:
- 9 group sessions
- Audio with guided meditations for home practice
- A handbook
Mindfulness is a skill. By practicing, you will master important life skills for your well-being! In this process you will be guided by your trainer. The program takes place over an eight-week period. You will get to work with meditations, relaxation and awareness exercises & theory. Take 30 to 45 minutes of daily practice into consideration. The more you practice, the more you reap the benefits!
The program includes the following elements:

- learning to switch from doing to being
- stress education
- dealing with thoughts and emotions
- recognizing mental and physical boundaries
- (self) care & compassion
- sustaining positive mental habits
During a free-of-charge intake, I will carefully discuss your motivation, goals and challenges. An intake is an important part of the MBSR training. We can get acquainted and discuss how mindfulness training can help you move forward in the best possible way.
You receive qualitative extensive teaching material. You’re provided with theory, tools, tips, quotes, research, articles, inspiration and forms. You also receive audio tracks with various mindfulness meditations.
The training will take place between 12:00-14:30 on Sundays 26/2, 5/3, 12/3, 19/3, 2/4, 9/4, 16/4.
One session on Friday 24/3 18:30-22:00.
A 6 hour practice day April 1 14:00-20:00.
